Press release from the City of Raleigh: Aug 30, 2021 Have you noticed longer grass along Crabtree Creek? There's a reason for that! We're growing a meadow along the greenway trail on Glenwood Avenue and Crabtree Valley Avenue. This will help reduce water pollution and protect the floodplain. What You'll See During this process, we'll:  Keep the grass long;  Mow the lawn and overseed it every spring to maintain the meadow.  The meadow should not interfere with activities on the greenway.  Learn about meadow benefits.  This press release was produced by the City of Raleigh.
