Kiss Postpones Wednesday Night's Show In Clarkston

MICHIGAN—Kiss founding member Gene Simmons has tested positive for COVID-19, leading the band to reschedule the next four dates on their tour, including Wednesday night's show at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston. In a joint statement on twitter, Kiss said on Tuesday all existing tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows and refund information will be available. Simmons said he is experiencing "mild symptoms" and his positive test comes after bandmate guitarist Paul Stanley's own recent battle with COVID. "My COVID symptoms were MILD compared to many others and let me tell you... It kicked my a--. It's over now," Stanley tweeted Monday. Kiss will isolate and remain at home for the next 10 days and hope to resume playing on Sept. 9, the band said on twitter. Other Kiss shows that have been rescheduled for the "End of the Road" tour include Dayton, OH, Tinley Park, IL and Milwaukee, as well as the Australian leg of the tour, which has been moved to next spring. We are postponing the next four tour dates. All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates once announced.
