MICHIGAN—The Doobie Brothers concert at DTE Energy Music Theater on Thursday has been postponed after a member of the touring personnel tested positive for COVID-19, the band said Wednesday on its website.
The is the second concert at the DTE Energy Music Theater to be postponed this week. Classic rock band Kiss also postponed their Wednesday night show after founding member Gene Simmons tested positive for COVID-19.
The old-school rockers have not announced a makeup date yet, but will so soon and are encouraging fans to hold onto their tickets for the newly scheduled dates, the band said on their website.
This is also the second time the Doobie Brothers have postponed their own DTE concert, as they were originally slated to play in August 2020, but that was sidelined because of the COVID-19 pandemic itself.
Other shows postponed include, Burgettstown, PA, Toledo, OH and Cincinnati, OH.
