Press release from the Chamber of Commerce of Huntsville/Madison County: August 31, 2021  On our weekly call, we discussed Huntsville's population growth, as outlined in recent Census figures, and workforce initiatives we are involved in. Ken Smith, the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber's Senior Director of Research & Information Services, discussed the local numbers that show strong growth for all regions of our community. He also notes what specifically makes Huntsville the largest city in the state (city population) and explained what constitutes a 'metro.'
