WORCESTER, MA — A Gloucester man has been charged with murder in connection to the April beating death of a Worcester man at a state treatment facility in Bridgewater, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office. Just after 10:30 p.m. on April 13, guards at the Massachusetts Treatment Center in Bridgewater responded to a bathroom at the facility after a report of a fight. They found Scott Wonoski, 43, of Worcester, bleeding on the floor of the bathroom. Wonoski died several hours after the fight at a hospital in Brockton of blunt force injures to the head and torso, according to the medical examiner. According to Plymouth County DA Tim Cruz, surveillance video captured in the bathroom showed Michael Robinson, 42, assaulting Wonoski. A Plymouth County grand jury on Wednesday found probable cause to charge Robinson with second-degree murder and assault and battery with a deadly weapon, according to Cruz.
