ATLANTA — Police are looking for two men they believe are connected to a weekend shooting in Downtown Atlanta that left a woman seriously injured.
The Atlanta Police Department is circulating a video of a pair of individuals considered suspects in the Saturday night shooting and are offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to arrests and indictments.
Shortly after 11 p.m. on Saturday, officers were called to the corner of Baker Street and Ted Turner Drive after gunfire was reported and arrived to find a woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said.
Officers determined that the woman was not the intended target, but was in a car when she was struck in the crossfire of the shooting, police said. The circumstances of the shooting are unclear, police said.
Monday police released a video showing the men they are targeting as suspects in the shooting. The footage shows the men standing on a street corner talking.
Police are asking that anyone with information about the shooting, and specifically about the identity of the suspects in this case, call 911 or Crime Stoppers Atlanta via the tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online at www.StopCrimeATL.com . Callers do not have to identify themselves to be eligible for the reward.
The investigation is ongoing. Please refresh this page for any updates.
