Description
I'm considering rehoming my 10-month-old Bernese Mountain dog / Great Pyrenees breed.
His mother was a purebred Great Pyrenees who worked a ranch and protected livestock. The sire, a purebred Bernese Mountain dog, also worked on the farm and so it is in his lineage.
I've not been able to be home enough to keep him occupied and he is destroying my house and yard while I am gone. He needs to work.
He is sweet and beautiful and amazing but is more than I can handle. He's grown up with a German Shepherd and a cat and chickens and though he can chase chickens at times, I think he might be good around bigger livestock. He is trained to sit/stay/come and heel and is excellent on a trail. He's hiked a lot and been in the backcountry a number of times.
Here's a picture of him and I would be asking for a $400 adoption fee to cover my time and expenses in training him and socializing him from a pup. I spent $900 for him in January. He has papers and can be registered as a designer hybrid, a Great Bernese, if interested.
He is still intact.
Let me know if you are interested.
