Wow!!! I just saw video of the Tailband flying one of our helicopters. OMG, you can't make this stuff up. In 1943 a guy name Ho Chi Min rescued a British pilot that was shot down by the Japanese, and helped him get 80 miles back to his base. In 1944 Vietnam became an Ally, in 1947 our C eye A intercepted a letter from Min to President Truman that would have helped us avoid the Police Action in Vietnam. Fun fact: Vietnam has always been 1 country, it was the USA that cut it up into North and South in the 1950's. After we got ran out of there in 1975 Vietnam went through a rough patch, but within 10 years became a pretty good country. I remember in the 1990's when a lot of Vietnam Vets wanted to go back there on vacation, to see the country again, without being shot at. Every thing we have done in Afghanistan since February 2002 was doomed to fail, and it did. Over and over. Sure Joe could have re nig ged on Trumps deal with the Tailband and stayed there another 100 years, but it would have still ended the same way. It's going to be interesting to see how Afghanville plays out, it won't be as well as Vietnam. I think right now you kids need to focus on your $29 Trillion National Debt your grand parents have left your parents, that they won't be able to pay off. I'll give you a clue how to handle your national finances, Supply Side Economics do not work. Every time since Regan tax cuts for the rich like me, and corporations have not paid for them self. My parents national debt went up 180% under Regan. My national debt went up 104% under Bush. Your national debt went up 90% under Obama, and 46% under Trump, in 4 years. I would tell you people what the Moral of the story is, but most of you would not get it. The rest are staring to figure it out.
