WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – SALEM, OREGON 97302 JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a hardworking Warehouse Associate to fill a full-time role in our national distribution wholesale company specializing in Industrial Fasteners in Salem, Oregon. You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and other duties. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Welcome delivery trucks • Receive and track shipments • Loading delivery vehicles using appropriate tools • Track and document shipments • Tag and label merchandise • Label and stock merchandise according to part description • Box and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards • Prepare all orders for shipment • Operate machinery (for example, forklift) • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs • Be able to converse and social comfortable dealing with customers QUALIFICATIONS: • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record • Drug screening, background check required • Previous working experience as a Warehouse Worker preferred • Hands on experience with inventory and logistics software programs • Great physical stamina and manual dexterity • Team player • Good organizational and time-management skills • Great interpersonal and communication skills • Problem solver • Reliable REQUIREMENTS: • Mon to Friday • Hours 6:30am – 3:00pm during initial 90-day training period • Full benefits available after qualifying period • Wage will be based on candidates experience and qualifications • Provide resume and references • COVID vaccination required Do not phone - email resume and references via craigslist
