SUMMARY DESCRIPTION Install gas, pellet, and wood fireplaces and stoves for residential remodels and new construction. We will train the right candidate with relevant construction experience. PAY & BENEFITS • $100 retention bonus after 30 days from start date • $400 additional retention bonus after 120 days from start date • Hourly pay depends upon experience (apprentice or lead position) • Sick leave and vacation pay • Retirement plan – stock of company given to each team member. % of stock grows annually. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Installation Responsibilities • Unit installation • Running venting • Electrical extensions and termination • Gas connection • Minor sheet metal work • Basic framing • Setting flashings and making water tight Service/Training Responsibilities • Setting up fireplaces/stoves • Install fireplace doors • Training customers on unit operation General Requirements • Requires construction experience. • Ability to climb ladders for heights of up to 30+ feet and crawl distances of up to 30+ feet. • Comfortable working on single or two-story roof. • Ability to work with tools, lumber and materials with precision and efficiency. • Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 80 pounds for 50 feet. • Individually motivated and works well in a team environment as well as independently. • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills. • Critical thinking and reasoning skills. • Clean and professional presentation. • Reliable transportation to and from Custom Fireside’s Sacramento location. Hours & Tools (No Personal Tools Required) • We will provide tools and vehicle for daily use. • Hours are Mon-Fri with occasional Sat.
