Seeking a handy, dependable person for general apartment maintenance

Are you a reliable person looking for a full-time job with a regular, predictable schedule? Are you a handyman, DIYer, or have general construction experience? Do you enjoy a relaxed, casual work environment with wide discretion as to how the job gets done? If you answered ‘yes’ to the questions above, I may have the job for you. As part of our apartment maintenance team, you will carry out general repair and replacement tasks across our large, scenic complex in East Sacramento, as well as preparing apartments for new residents. On a daily basis, you can expect to: - Join, tape, texture, paint, and patch drywall - Install and replace simple lighting and plumbing fixtures - Mend wooden and chain link fencing - Perform general groundskeeping, such as picking up trash, emptying bins, sweeping, etc. Due to the nature of the property and the work necessary to maintain it, you will be expected to: - Climb ladders that are 20ft. high or greater - Work in awkward positions, such as under cabinets or in crawl spaces, while crouching, crawling, or bent over for extended periods of time - Lift and move objects weighing up to 70lbs unassisted - Work around fine dust and noxious chemicals with adequate PPE provided - Respectfully and responsibly enter and attend to the homes of residents who may or may not be present This is a REAL, W-2 job.
