Seeking Skilled Drummer for Jazzish Project

Hi! I’m 44 and I play mainly guitar, some (upright) bass and a little percussion and keys. I’m seeking a skilled drummer/percussionist to collaborate on writing jazz and world inspired music. I’m hoping to find someone who can listen closely, leave space when it fits, play softly as needed, and enjoy holding down a steady groove. I gravitate toward simple repetitive forms and pretty/lyrical melodies. I like to incorporate improvisation but I’m not looking to solo for soloing’s sake. I’m not really looking to play straight ahead jazz or highly experimental music.
