Janitorial / Maintenance Worker- 1st shift San Fernando Valley Position Description: Seeking a self-motivated, thorough and organized individual with strong attention to detail and accountability for maintaining a well-cleaned and maintained facility. Also have the ability to perform minor repairs, projects and maintenance duties around the facility as needed. Responsibilities include: • Perform consistent daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning of the offices, common areas, restrooms, breakrooms, windows and exterior of the building, to include: o Sweeping o Mopping o Dust mop o Windows o Dusting and wiping of counters, shelving and furniture within offices o Empty trash cans o Floor buffing, polishing & waxing with power equipment o Thorough cleaning & sanitizing of counters, break areas, high-traffic and touch areas, etc. o Stock supplies as needed for restrooms, coffee rooms, employee areas o Utilize company provided tools, equipment & appropriate supplies • Additional various tasks such as painting, wall patching, assembly and other repairs as needed Qualifications: • Prior janitorial experience is a MUST! • Positive, hard-working, follows directions and eager to help • Perform assigned duties per schedule and specifications. • Perform additional facility-related maintenance and light repair skills • Able to use power cleaning equipment including floor buffer/polisher, pressure-washer, etc. • Performs job in a safe manner protecting the health and safety of yourself and all employees - follows all required company safety policies • Able to lift minimum of 40 lbs. • Reliable transportation Additional Information: • Weekly schedule Tuesday –Saturday, Hours 7am – 3:30pm • We offer competitive wages and excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation, 401k and other company activities
