I am being punished for doing a good deed that cost me thousands. That was my retirement $$$ and now I can't find a job as a live-in caretaker. I have been staying in the cheapest hotel I could find and now I have 2 days left. I was hit by a car that took off and my car is not drivable. I am looking for suggestions, I have worked as a live-in caretaker for the elderly here in Roanoke, before that I was a dog groomer, but standing for long periods is impossible for me now, and I sold all my grooming equipmnt. I have no family anywhere to help. I am alone (except for my 8lb dog) and feeling scared and desperate. So I am living "no good deed goes unpunished". Any suggestions? The Rescue mission is not an option for me.
