ATTENTION LAS VEGAS BASS PLAYERS: I am looking for a bassist for my original band, Leona X. We are looking for someone who is a team player, easy to work with, drama free, and most of all, someone who believes in, and is willing and AVAILABLE to commit to this project. We know you have to make a living too, but we don't want someone who is in too many bands to find time to work on our material. Prefer someone who already has some source of income besides music. Doing the original thing means putting in the work first, then the money will come later. Gender or age does not matter, but good image and stage presence is a MUST, along with professional attitude, live performance and recording experience, strong work ethic, doing homework ahead of time, NOT at rehearsal, sing backup vocals, be prepared, and able to travel/tour, transportation, gear, etc. No drugs or alcohol addictions. Our music is raw, riff heavy, down tuned metal/rock, with dark undertones. Some examples of our influences are Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, Typo Negative, and Halestorm.
