Irri was surrendered on 7/18/21. She is an adult female with a half regenerated tail, and she is healthy and a great eater. Day geckos are gorgeous display animals and do great in bioactive terrariums, but they are not good pets for handling. Her adoption fee is $50. PLEASE READ! If you are interested in adopting Irri, you need to fill out an application at www.bewildnc.org/apply. Read the application carefully and answer the questions thoroughly. Above all, be honest! Research the species you would like to adopt in advance and consult multiple sources, we are happy to answer questions. Adopters agree to pick-up the animal in Durham within 7 days of their approval. Due to the current pandemic, adoptions will be performed with social distancing in mind.
