Producer/Composer LF Singer-Lyricist to Write With

Meets

Description

tldr: I’m looking to collaborate with a lyricist-singer. Preferably female as the last few songs have been for male voices. — Back when gigging paid, I made a living playing, doing studio work, writing for film, and making arrangements for public events. It was a lot of fun, and I made great friends and great contacts, but I moved careers into psychiatry. That said, I still really love to write music. I’m looking for a singer-lyricist to collaborate with. I’m pretty flexible on styles, though I don’t do much country. (That said, I’m currently integrating goth country into a slow, sexy tribal-like metal song I’m writing for a guy up north.) I’ve been wanting to experiment with work in the style of Son Lux, but if we go lyrics-first, then I’ll write whatever fits your words and singing. I’m not really into top 40, so if popular radio hits are your gig, I’m probably not a good match. While I don’t mind pop at all, and some pop is really friggin' cool, I love to blend genres. I also love sound design and experimenting with songs. Most radio songs are excellently produced, but the actual song and lyric writing tends to be lazy. There are of course exceptions. I threw together a little Soundcloud page. There’s a small variety there. Just bounce around the songs and see what you think, but keep in mind I’m hoping to explore other styles: https://soundcloud.com/user-1479252 Feel free to reach out. Please send me a link to your own material or include some in your email. While I’m doing this for fun, if you want to explore studio options and making money, that’s cool with me. I’m not stingy with copyrights and licensing.
