Where: The job location will be in Cal City Training details are TBD but training will likely take place in Adelanto facility for the first 4-6 weeks. Who: No experience necessary, we will train the right people! Cultivator We are seeking Cultivators to become part of our team! The Cultivation Technician is an entry-level position with little to no experience required. This is a predominantly physical/manual labor position. The ideal candidate will be energetic and have a positive attitude and team spirit. This job will be based in California City with the initial training taking place in a second location, details TBD. About the Role This is a labor-intensive job that requires hard work, ability to work well as part of a team, critical thinking and strong attention to detail. Cleaning and sanitizing cultivation areas. Staging growing medium, irrigation lines, and trellises. Assisting overall cultivation efforts such as pruning, defoliating, and transplanting. Daily care of plants, including watering, pruning, and inspecting the plants. Continuous systematic cleaning and sanitizing of grow facility and machinery. Properly disposing of waste according to strict compliance guidelines. Tracking and tracing clones, living plants, and plant waste as required by the state. Meeting daily goals based on square footage, field productivity, and as determined by supervisors. Adhering to cultivation schedules and assisting in maintaining inventory records. Assisting to make sure plant population requests are met. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older to apply Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 lbs. for extended periods. Remain focused while performing repetitive functions. High manual dexterity. Ability to perform the job duties in hot and humid conditions in both darkened and brightly-lit rooms. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment. Have reliable transportation to the facility. Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all co-workers with respect, despite challenging work conditions Must respond well to feedback and have a growth-focused mindset.
