Job Responsibilities: * Layout of electrical per plans and local codes * Insure all electric is installed per plan and code * Ask questions to determine severity of electrical problem * Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done * Confer with customers to determine their electrical repair needs * Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical * Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems * Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order * Inspect electrical systems and components to determine condition and identify needed repairs * Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets * Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections. * Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications * Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly Job Requirements: * 2 plus years' experience in electrical construction * Valid US Driver's License with clean driving history * Current Texas Electrical License (Wireman) * Possess and maintain required tools * Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen * Must be able to provide work authorization documents upon hire Required Education: * High school diploma or the equivalent * Electrical Wireman or Journeyman license Company Perks and Benefits: * Competitive, Weekly pay * Health, vision and dental plans * Free TeleDoc services for entire household * Life, ST Disability, Critical Care and Hospital Indemnity Coverages available. * 401K plan with employer match * Paid holidays and vacation that increases with tenure * We promote from within * Company holiday party and regular branch celebrations If you are a licensed wireman with residential experience, please submit resume by clicking on the "Reply" button or apply on our website at.
