Rehoming Handsome Bully

Description
This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I need to re-home my sweet handsome boy, because I no longer can provide the best home for him. His name is Ammo, he is approximately 6-7 years old and I have owned him for the past 4&1/2. Upon adopting him, we immediately knew he was from a home where he was abused. He was terrified of men- and still has problems with trust. Let me be straight- I know what this pup needs and am not willing to bend on it. I am not asking a re-homing fee. I will however be asking to do an environment check. This dog- is stupid cute and so loving BUT this dog can not be around children or in an environment that has a multitude of stimulus. He needs a calm, loving home. He loves walks but can not walk far. I am re-homing him due to his aggression towards children. He has never been aggressive towards me, but has been towards children. Ammo does not do well with being scared, children grabbing at his tail or vacuums. These are all triggers and will cause a snap. Ammo is not food aggressive, he is not outwardly aggressive and he is not a mean dog. He is potty trained and can last up to 10 hours ( I used to work in the ER and he was used to my shifts). This is a sweet dog but with a rough past. If I didn't have a child I would never get rid of this dog, but the problem is my child deserves to live as does he. They both need a home that suits them. Ammo does well with other animals- he is not aggressive towards them; cats and dogs. Ammo needs; a calmer quiet environment without children. Air conditioning as his breed overheats easily, a cuddle buddy, and lots of treats that he can't try to swallow- cause he will and he will choke. Upon home approval Ammo will come with his feeding bowls, toys, collar, leash etc. If you are still reading, you should know- Ammo is a hell of a dog. He is loyal to his person, loves to sleep at your feet, and will do anything for a belly rub. He is a sweet boy, he just needs the right environment. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY
