Description

The Lead Horticulturalist reports directly to the Golf Course Superintendent. Under their supervision, the Lead Horticulturalist directs and participates in the maintenance of the club house and associated outlets landscape beds, including both interior and exterior planting displays. The Lead Horticulturalist will be responsible for designing, procuring, and implementation of annual and seasonal color. The Lead Horticulturalist will be responsible for the management and maintenance scheduling of all aspects of the landscapes throughout the property. The Lead Horticulturalist will also work directly with the Landscape Master Plan Architect on the final plans, procurement, and implementation of new landscapes. The Lead Horticulturalist will be working position that will coordinate with the Golf Course Superintendent on additional staffing needs. The Lead Horticulturalist will have one hourly staff member directly under their supervision to assist with upkeep and to mentor into an Assistant Horticulturalist role. The Lead Horticulturalist will be responsible for scheduling and planning to ensure that the Club House grounds are kept in an exemplary state during Club operating hours (Tuesday-Sunday).
