We adopted this 3 yr old Chihuahua mix boy recently from the shelter. He isnt doing well with my wild toddler. He tolerates him but he doesn't like when my toddler jumps up on me or swats at me (I guess he thinks he needs to protect me from my son and we can't risk that). He needs to be in a home without very small children for that reason. He is very much a velcro dog and wants to follow his human around everywhere..literally. I would love if he can go to a home with someone who is home a lot to give him that attention. He is up to date on shots from the shelter..microchipped..neutered..house trained and crate trained..and I have taught him how to sit and stay. He doesn't bark. He takes a little bit to warm up (he still prefers me over my husband) he's never growled or snapped at my husband but he only goes to him if he gives him food or treats. So be prepared if you have others at home..he may stay attached to one over the other. I considered taking him back to the shelter but would much prefer to give him to someone here so I know he's going straight to a loving home as it breaks my heart to have to part with him. I will be asking a fee of 100 dollars to cover his crate/food/toys/leash that we purchased as well as be sure he goes to a good home. Located in Lula.
