Hello Boulder! The Boulder Friends of Jazz hosts a trad/Dixieland/swing jam the first Sunday of every month. If you are an avid fan or dancer, come out to enjoy the music. If you are a player or singer, come sit in and play a few tunes with us. Our first jam post-COVID is happening this coming Sunday, September 5th, from 1-4pm. Please come celebrate and bring a friend or two! The details: Jam happens at The Avalon Ballroom, 6185 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO 80303. We play from 1-4pm. Usually, admission costs $10 ($8 for members), but since it's our first jam back, this time it's absolutely FREE! (Participating musicians/vocalists who sit in are always free). Due to the rules at The Avalon, you MUST show proof of vaccination to participate (no imitation bootleg vax cards accepted 😉 ). So come out to the Avalon and enjoy some jazz! It's America's music and it's our heritage!
