Description
Little Lucy is almost a 6 yr old, 6 pound deerhead Chihuahua. She came to me as a rescue flown to Oregon from a kill shelter in Californina. He elderly owner passed away, and was being homed by a friend of the owner who eventually surrendered her. Lucy is truly a sweet and shy little girl. She rarely barks, mainly when someone knocks on the door. She doesn't just yap like some small dogs. Lucy had a dental exam before coming to me and had many teeth removed, so I give her small bites food and break up her treats. She loves string cheese. She is spayed and is well groomed, no fleas or medical issues. She has been living in a home with multiple cats and a loud and crazy 2 yr old grand daughter. She has never bit or snapped at anyone....well me when I clip her nails, but she doesn't have many teeth and she doesn't bite to hurt you, only if she's scared. She must have been clipped or hurt before, so nail clipping is scary for her. Lucy loves wearing sweaters and has several. She's really good about putting them on. She's a typical Chihuahua and shakes from anxiety more than being cold. She loves to be in bed, snuggled and warm. She loves walks on her leash and will go, and go, and go. She does like having a potty pad down at night so she don't have accidents in the house, and if I leave her home during the day, I leave one out also just in case. Seems that's how she was trained. But I take her outside and she finds a spot and goes like a good girl. Lucy would do great in a quiet home without a lot of things going on. She does fine with other dogs, cats and kids but just is timid around them. She seems to really love men, not sure why, but she loves sitting on their laps. If this little girl would be a great pet and companion for you, please email me. Rehoming fee of only $100. That comes with all her clothes, bed, blanket, food, treats, box of potty pads, and her 🙂 Serious inquiries only. I don't have to rehome her...so I'm in no hurry to make a quick decision. Thanks, Stephanie
