Come Join Us We Play: Jazz, Swing, Blues, Rock We're looking for people who play: an intermediate level or better and who can read charts of medium difficulty that includes big band, jazz, latin, Latin Jazz, and swing charts. Who we are: Our Jazz Ensemble is a community based, non profit Jazz, Swing, Dance Band that plays for the benefit of local non-profits. We've been together for a few years and we're growing. We currently rehearse Monday evenings from 7:30 - 9:30 in Dallas. The group currently consists of the following: Saxophones: 1 lead alto 2 tenor saxes 1 bari sax Trombones: 1 lead 2nd trombone 3rd trombone Trumpets: 1 lead 2nd trumpet Rhythm Section 1 drummer We would like to add more musicians to join us: Jazz singers & vocalists Bass players (upright or electric) Piano players Drummers Alto saxophones Clarinet & Flute 3rd & 4th Trumpets Bass Trombone Anyone that wants to sub For more information, reach out to Chris Aikins.
