I am a parent, and member of my children's respective school PTA. Please show your enthusiasm for parents, teachers, and especially students by becoming a member, and supporting the PTA. Our PTA is currently under new leadership, and membership is BOOMING!!! An "unofficial" agreement was made by a faculty member that "If membership reached 200, I will let the local fire department spray me with a fire hose.". That "agreement" was amended when the faculty member saw membership climb; the NEW, and official agreement is that if Benbrook Elementary PTA membership reaches 300 members, the Vice Principal (Kristin Hood) will be doused with a fire hose, and have it live streamed to all the students. The goal posts will not move again so come on EVERYBODY, let's get the entire COMMUNITY involved in achieving this goal, and giving the students an incredible experience!!!
