Job description Primary duties of Field Maintenance Technician are to perform maintenance and preform inspections on customer equipment. Field Maintenance Technician will work across all company internal divisions when deemed necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: • Good mechanical aptitude • Prior mechanical experience • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written • Interpersonal skills to interface with employees, and other departments • Teamwork and organizational skills • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word preferred • Current driver’s license with a clean driving record (DOT license preferred) • Maintain and monitor all quality control measures • Understand and dedication to all safety processed and procedures • Ability to work overtime when required • Ability to travel (Travel is a big part of position, please be open to traveling and staying away from operation base if you apply) • Abide by, support and help implement all safety programs or policies Responsibilities The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all inclusive nor present other duties from being assigned when necessary. • Work area cleanliness, maintenance and contamination control • Service customer equipment as directed • Operate service truck when required and applicable • Learn problem identifiers while servicing equipment· • Report any and all issues found upon equipment inspection or service • Insure safety policies and procedures are followed • Enforce all company rules and regulations • Report any deviation from company policies • Other duties as assigned Qualifications Position requires skills normally obtained through the completion of high school or GED equivalent plus specialized training in order to be able to acquire the ability to apply understanding to provide detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving variables situations. This position requires prior experience with equipment maintenance in order to be oriented to skills required in servicing machinery and equipment. Candidates with previous Frac experience will be considered. Position requires a valid DOT physical to be maintained. All positions require passing company pre-employment drug test. Working Conditions Work is normally performed out-of-doors, where exposure to atmospheric conditions of extreme heat or cold, fumes, and gases are frequent. The worker is exposed to noise, moving/mechanical parts, vibration, high pressure, electrical shock, chemicals, caustic materials and flammable liquids. The worker will be required to regularly work overtime and be on call 24 hours per day. Worker will be required to travel to multiple areas in order to support all company interest. This will require staying in the field for multiple days at a time. Physical Demands The work of this position is considered physically which involves the frequent movement of up to 100 lbs. to lift, push, pull or carry such objects as equipment. The work of this position requires eye and hand/foot coordination and manual dexterity associated with operating equipment and performing repairs and maintenance procedures. Vision and depth perception skills are required to monitor controls on equipment. Smelling sense must be able to detect odor causing issues. Working Relationships The work of this position requires frequent contact with other personnel, both internal and external, to give and exchange information. The work of the position requires external contact with vendors as well as customers and professionalism and safety of all parties must be taken into consideration at all times. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour” Competitive pay for CDL holders
