Description
NOPE. I can say that with the UTMOST certainty. There are strong reasons for this. Lets look at electric vehicles already being produced. Say, golf carts. They go go go when they are new. Of this there is no doubt. But when the batteries start to wear down, here is what happens. When battery voltage drops, the amperage draw increases. This causes poor performance, and begins to strain and overheat electric motors and speed control components. The lower the voltage, the worse the problem becomes, until something burns out. It doesn't matter how high-tech the batteries or the drive systems are. They do burn out. Not just sometimes, EVERY TIME. So we might as well start looking for the next new technology before we get caught with a loser. Ask any electrician to verify what I have said. They can tell you if you don't believe me. You can thank me later, Bill.
