Maintenance Worker III – Cemetery Cemetery Division Parks & Recreation Department Application deadline: Friday, September 17, 2021 Visit www.icgov.org/jobs to apply online One permanent full time position available Full salary range: $48,921.60 – $63,356.80 Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Job summary: Under general direction, leads and participates in all phases of cemetery operations and mainte¬nance. Maintains cemetery grounds, equipment and other assigned public areas. Minimum qualifications: High school degree or equivalent required. Two years of experience in grounds maintenance or related field required. Forklift and backhoe certification must be obtained by end of probationary period. Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record required. Must be 18 years of age per Iowa Code 92.8. Must pass criminal background check. Preferred qualifications: Three years of experience in grounds maintenance or in a related field preferred.
