He takes 1/2 tablet of vetMedin daily to help support healthy heart function due to a valvular insufficiency in his heart, the condition is similar to congestive heart failure in dogs but can be combated using the vetMedin medication. Maui is a very active standard poodle who loves attention and to play with toys outdoors, he loves to run and would be great with a family with kids to play with in the backyard or a great walking buddy for a low to moderately active family, exercise should be moderated in order to maintain a healthy blood pressure in order to help his condition. He is also happy just hanging out around the house and being the goofy center of attention.
