Available - Guitarist that Sings

I'm a seasoned guitarist who's played in several bands over the years - lots of live experience and comfortable playing a lead role (as in front man) or supporting personnel. Pro Gear with a great sound. I prefer rock music, esp. 1970s rock style (Aerosmith, Zeppelin, Floyd, Phish, King Crimson, etc.) but I like playing in other styles as well. I don't do jazz, country, or pop. I sing reasonably well and write original material. Looking for a group that needs a lead player, or I would like to team up with someone creative like a bass player where we can build songs together. I'm in my mid-40s with plenty of energy and ideas. I can travel but would like to stay in the San Diego area, and play with people that are reasonably close to my age. Best if you already have a place to play. Will send audio and video samples upon request. Even if you need a temporary player for a one-off gig or recording, HMU and we'll go from there. Bonus points if you recognize the artist pictured in my ad!
