Just to be clear - Texas republicans do NOT want the government telling us that we must wear masks during a pandemic. But the same Texas republicans DO want the government to tell a woman what they can and cannot do with their reproductive system? A simple cloth mask seems like a minor request. Telling a woman what she can and cannot do with her body is a major intervention. Don't get me wrong. I do not condone abortion. But I also do not want any government telling me what I can and cannot do with my own body. EVER... Texans do NOT want then government forcing vaccines. But the do want the government making spiritual decisions for women. One more reason to not live in Texas.
