Seeking foster or forever homes for friendly cats rescued from hoarding situation SOS!!! FOSTER OR ADOPT: Union City, NJ. On July 23rd, my neighbor Maria was found collapsed in her apartment and rushed to the hospital. She won't be home soon, and even when she's discharged, she won't be in any condition to care for her cats. Her instructions are to find homes for all the cats. If you can foster or adopt one or two of these cats it would be wonderful and really help Maria to know that they're in a good home. We're trying to avoid Animal Control getting involved. Pictured are some of the friendly ones. Not sure of the sexes or ages. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. All potential fosters and adopters will be carefully screened by a local rescue group. There is a small adoption fee.
