WILDFIRE RANCH SPIRITUAL RETREAT (wildfireranch.org) is located in Spring Mills, just 25 minutes East of State College, Pa. and the Pennsylvania State University. We use horses to heal humans of depression and draw them closer to God. We are seeking a responsible person to work approximately 25 hours/week as a ranch hand, feeding the herd of 17 horses, mucking stalls, lawn-mowing, weed-eating and running the tractor. Pay is $10/hour cash. On occasion you will be asked to do handyman work such as fixing broken fences and gates and will be paid $20/hour for minor plumbing, electrical or carpentry work. BARTERING OPTION: Rent a fully-furnished guest room on our horse ranch featuring a bed, dresser, end table, microwave oven and refridgerator, laundry room and full bath. Rent is $600/month which includes electric, cable TV, Wi-fi, propane, water, sewage and garbage. You can barter your room rent for handyman work feeding the horses each day.
