Our company is looking to add 1-2 EXPERIENCED MOVERS to start IMMEDIATELY! WE ARE LOOKING FOR THOSE WHO CAN START THIS WEEK!!! AS EARLY AS TOMORROW, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2ND! Please read this ad very carefully. If this job is not for you please DO NOT APPLY. Our ideal candidate will be someone that has the stamina to work 3 - 10 hours on any given day, can lift more than 50 lbs., and shows up to work on time. If you are a smoker and can't work 3 hours without a cigarette break then this job is not for you. Candidates with clean MVRs and a valid DL are highly desirable. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK. Sorry, but if you have a felony we cannot hire you, per insurance regulations. We are trying to fill two positions... One FULL-TIME and one PART-TIME position. What we need in a FULL TIMER is someone available and willing to work 5-7 days a week or about 8 - 15 jobs per week!! 2021 has been an incredibly busy moving season so there's plenty of work for those who want it. Weekend availability is REQUIRED! Many of our customers do tip so there's the potential to make additional money with gratuities. We can't fully guarantee work every day but for the right candidate every day we have work you can work! We strongly prefer those with experience but will consider to train the right candidates with strong labor backgrounds. If you have at least 3 years of verifiable residential moving experience with a reputable moving company you will move to the front of the line. Freight movers, warehouse labor, furniture delivery, UPS/FedEx experience are also pluses. This is a 1099 position. We don't take any taxes or deductions on a weekly basis. You will be required to fill out a W9 upon hire and sign a subcontractor agreement with us. We are willing to pay cash daily but need timesheets signed. We pay for labor only AND only if the job is completed. We will not pay for job walk-offs or incomplete work. We do not run our business out of a commercial space but we will interview at a public place and once hired we will allow you to travel to jobsites without having to come to an office. This is subject to change in the future. Our pay scale is $15.00 - $20.00 an hour. We pay depending on experience and if you have a valid DL and clean MVR. We pay a minimum of 2 hours per job although 90% of our jobs are longer than that but for those jobs that take only a few minutes we will pay you well for your time. We're looking for positive attitudes, high motivation levels, and mature work ethic. We're trying to grow our local reputation and those that help our company will be properly rewarded. The only two things we ask is that you be professional with our customers and an efficient worker i.e. no excessive smoke breaks, swearing, or using your phone on the jobs. To be honest, we're looking for personnel that don't smoke at all on the jobs. We rely on getting great online reviews and must avoid the negative things that hurt us like too much smoking, bad attitudes, complaining, damages, etc. True dealbreakers.... showing up smelling of marijuana, no shows, habitual lateness... those we can not and will not tolerate.
