Wanted: Minnesota Licensed Roofer and/or Roofing company needed to reroof our single-story home in Hopkins. It is a tear-off. We have a hip roof that is about a 4/12 pitch and is 40'x52'. The ridge is 12' long. The picture you see is our actual home that needs to be re-roofed. Our straight-forward requirements. -On-site dumpster (or company truck or ???) delivered/used during tear-off so shingles are NOT left on ground. -Drip Edge installed correctly (not touching fascia) and applied directly on to the roof, around entire roof. Shingles should extend slightly past drip edge -Entire roof to have ice and water shield applied. No felt paper. -12 standard brown static exhaust vents with 60 NFA per vent--- (6 vents installed of each side of the ridge) -Note- 2 existing vents will be eliminated and will need to have the roof openings properly repaired/filled securely with wood, so they won't sag when there is a snow-load. One opening to be repaired/filled is small and the other opening from a old power roof vent is about 12"x12". We want GAF Timberline HDZ Shakewood Algae Resistant Laminated High Definition Shingles (Home Depot) ***On-site permit required prior to start of work Complete grounds clean-up of any remaining debris and nails after reroofing is completed. Your Minnesota contractor license number is required before we start any correspondence, so we know you are legit. We will also want 3 references of clients whose homes you have reroofed in the past month. We are prepared to move forward immediately. Cash Payment in Full upon completion.
