Atlas 46, the leader in design and innovative work gear and apparel, has opened a location in Vandalia, IL and is seeking a Plant Manager to run and oversee day to day operations of our facility located in the downtown area. Plant Manager Duties and Responsibilities: *Monitor all operations and processes *Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety regulations *Ensure all compliance needs are met *Manage scheduling for a fully operational team *Oversee daily floor operations and optimize productive time *Develop strategies to increase productivity and production *Practice conflict resolution among departments and employees *Report and track expenses to reduce costs *Analyze production metrics and data to determine areas to improve *Hire and train new employees *Coordinate maintenance and repairs to ensure a safe working environment *Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping pertinent information confidential. *Will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire. Plant Manager Requirements and Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management, business, or related field a plus *1-3 years' previous experience as a plant manager, supervisor, or related position a major plus *Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations *Strong management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams *Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently *Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills *Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions *Excellent conflict-resolution and decision-making abilities Please stop by our location at 410 W.
