Hi, my name is Haley and as unfortunate as it is, I am having to rehome a few of my 8 reptiles due to not having as much time for them as I used too. My bearded dragon, named Calypso, is assumed to be 2-3 years old. I’m not 100% sure of the sex but it is believed to be male. I originally took him in him from someone who was not taking care of him properly with the intent to rehome him once he was in good health. When I first got him, he was the size of my palm, was having seizures and could barely walk or open his eyes. I took him to the vet and he also had tail rot, so that was removed and he has not had any seizures or tail issues since. The last 2 pictures posted will be of his originally condition for context. I am in no rush to rehome him now but I have noticed that he is about 90% better, with his only issues now being that his thinks everything is food and is always hungry (probably due to the fact he wasn’t fed for almost a year of his life). He is definitely food crazy and thinks fingers are food as well, but he has never bitten me and it is quite funny to see him chase my fingers from outside the cage. He isn’t extremely fond of handling but he has gotten 10x better than when i first got him so i’m confident that with more time, he would eventually love it. I have been working on getting him used to hands in the past year that I have had him but it’s still a work in progress. Mostly I take him out at night once his lights turn off and just chill with him on my lap where he will fall asleep. He will come with everything pictured including his 24x48 front opening cage, new UVB lamp that was just changed on 8/6/21, heat lamp and all cage accessories.
