Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to alleviate poverty. Nordonia Hills Community Connection is offering a Bridges Out of Poverty training at Macedonia UMC Fellowship Hall. This workshop is a comprehensive approach to understanding poverty. Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides concrete tools and strategies for a community to alleviate poverty. Participants will review poverty research, examine a theory of change, and analyze poverty through the prism of the hidden rules of class, resources, family structure, and language. Will be led by a trainer from Great Lakes Bridges organization, Jennifer Hedinger. Registration is $42 and includes required book and boxed lunch. Participants will be observing Covid-19 safety precautions (masks and distancing).
