Explore DNA and the magic of melanin at this fun kids event at the Fort Washington Pool. Do your kids love doing experiments? Join us for some summer STEM fun at the Fort Washington Pool. Make this a day of fun in the sun and take a dip in the pool after the workshop. We will be exploring DNA and melanin. We will be creating a model of human DNA and learning about what melanin is, the differnt types, why we are all unique according to our DNA and more. WHAT'S INCLUDED All lab materialsWorksheetCertificateSurprise gift for each child Non-members of the Fort Washington pool are required to pay and additional $5 per person which included a day pass to the pool. This fee must be paid on-site directly to the pool staff. on the day of the event Cash or Venmo only. Pool open swim hours are 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm. You may bring food and drinks to the pool, glass is not allowed. Sign up today, space is limited. Masks are recommended but not required for this outdoor event.
