Join us in creating a festive boxwood tree perfect for the holiday season! *Pictures are only for inspiration, and designs may differ during the class. Design Days at Metro Flower Market: Holiday Boxwood Tree Instructor: TBD We all love a tree for the holiday. Join us to create a tabletop Boxwood tree to add to your festive holiday décor or to give as a gift to someone special. These trees are fun to make and last nicely through the season. 90-minute classes: • Introduction of instructor (check our website for instructor bios) • Demonstration of technique using several examples • Students follow lead and create the assigned design • Individualized critique and tips for each student • Closing and invitation to attend next class • Cleanup Each class to contain: • Care and handling tips for fresh flowers and foliage • References to the Elements and Principles of Design • Additional examples of the technique being taught • Discussion of costs of materials, where appropriate, and other useful information • Q&A welcome throughout the class Bring flower tools, clippers or floral knife, apron and gloves optional (limited tool kits available for purchase). $85 per class includes all supplies and refreshments! Come 30 minutes before each class to meet and mingle (wine on Thursdays, seasonal refreshments on Sundays)
