I'm posting this dog up for adoption on my brother's behalf. This dog was taken in as a stray pup when it was a few weeks old. We believe it had a rough early life. It's about 3 years old now with lots of energy. He's about 50-60lbs. The dog is very territorial in regards to food and toys although he has had some obidience training. He has a history for biting other dogs. Never life threatening until recently. He recently bit a younger pup when the pup went after this dog's treat and sadly the pup didn't recover from the bite he took, which is the reason why we're looking to put it up for adoption to the right people and home. The trama from witnessing such an event has broken the owner-dog relationship. We hope that he can have a second chance with another family. He has lived indoors around cats and gotten along with other dogs of larger/similar size than him okay. Primarily been around adults only, we are not sure how he would be around kids. Please know this dog will need daily exercise to release his energy. He also inhales food and water. He is house broken. Please know we are also looking for shelters who can take him in. We're asking a $50 rehome fee to ensure he goes to a good home, but we will include some of his things like collar, leash, kennel, dog food, slow feeder bowl and treats. He is up to date on his vaccinations.
