Description

The First-Time Mom's Guide to Managing Triggers: Practical Strategies to Navigate Difficult Moments We're so excited to bring you this program as something new and different to anything we've done! Doctor of Occupational Therapy Danielle Delorenzo has written a new book titled: The First-Time Mom's Guide to Managing Triggers: Practical Strategies to Navigate Difficult Moments As a first time mom and pediatric occupational therapist, she wanted to create a mindful resource for first time mamas (even though the strategies in these books can be used by everyone). As Danielle puts it, "I thought motherhood was going to be a breeze until the very first second I became a parent. My motherhood journey began in trauma and I wanted to figure out supports and strategies to help navigate these difficult moments with a more conscience, mindful parenting style. Whether you have experienced trauma or not, this book is filled with valuable in the moment and on going strategies to help you respond rather than react in frustrating moments." Join us for a conversation style presentation, highlighting a few strategies in the book and sharing stories of our motherhood journeys together followed by a Safe Space for sharing and Q and A to talk all about navigating the emotions of parenting. *Please note this is a ticketed FREE event, and masks are requested during attendance in our small space.
