She felt helpless not knowing what to do or how she could possibly comfort her friend. So she leaned into what she loved and brought lasagna to him. She likes to think of lasagna as a hug you give to someone even when you’re not in their presence. If someone takes a lasagna that she made out of their refrigerator or freezer and puts it in their oven to eat, she hopes when they sit down at their table, they think of a hug made especially for them! Over the last couple of years, Stephanie quickly became known as the "Lasagna Lady" all around Indianapolis. Her lasagna has given a warm hug to thousands of people during the most challenging and happiest times in their lives. She has been featured in Indianapolis Monthly Magazine, Indy Style, and Indy Star.
