Come join us for our Back to School Backpack Drive Good day Conductors, We are happy to announce that Conductor will be hosting a Back to School Backpack Drive on Wednesday September 8th from 1:00 – 2:00pm on location at our New York City Headquarters at 2 Park Avenue. This Backpack Drive is one of Conductor’s many ways of giving back to the community and with many returning to school for the first time since the pandemic, we understand that resources are low for some. Which is why we have produced a way to help those in need for their return to school. Those of you who choose to participate will be given a backpack which will already be filled with the basic essential supplies: composition notebooks, pencils, folders, and rulers. However, your contribution to add additional supplies would be greatly appreciated. Additional supplies can include but is not limited to: Markers, Crayons, Pens, Sharpeners, Safety Scissors, Highlighters and of course the COVID essentials: a box of gloves, masks and sanitizer. Once you’ve purchased these items, please bring them into the office on September 8th and you will be given a backpack to fill with the additional supplies that you purchased. The backpacks will be donated to The Child Care Center Of New York. The Child Care Center Of New York is a local organization servicing a community of over 40,000 and is committed to strengthening children and families with skills, opportunities, and emotional support to build healthy, successful lives. The Child Center of NY is dedicated to excellence, and delivering the highest quality services to those who need them most. The organization will take the backpacks that we fill and donate each to the students of families who are low on resources. They will take photos of the student that the backpack is donated to along with their families and share it with the person who made the contribution. We believe that this is a great way to give back to the community while also engaging and participating in group activities with one another after being apart for so long.
