Join us on Saturday, Sept. 25th for a fun and informative kayak tour of the North Branch Our kayak tour features stops at local businesses, development projects, and area destinations. We'll leave from the docks at Rockwell on the River and paddle to Lathrop Homes, Lincoln Yards, the Wild Mile Chicago, and REI Lincoln Park. At each stop, our partners will talk to our group about their businesses and projects, including how we can support them. The ride will end with a paddle back to Rockwell on the River. Everyone is invited to join us at Metropolitan Brewing following the tour. North Branch Works is a membership-supported neighborhood organization that for more than three decades has promoted balanced, job creating economic development along the North Branch of the Chicago River. We proactively engage with businesses, property owners, and community stakeholders in the North Branch, Addison, and Kennedy Industrial Corridors and support sustainable and well-planned development that results in business growth and job retention/creation for this area. We have also long been a City of Chicago delegate agency, providing an array of services to local businesses.
