Members Choice Credit Union is hosting a Free Community Shred Day in partnership with West Houston Document Destruction Join us in partnership with West Houston Document Destruction for a Free Community Shred Day on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at our Members Choice Katy Freeway Branch Location. We will also be hosting our Member Appreciation Event that day so if you're not already a member we invite you to join us to see all of the great benefits that credit union membership has to offer. Shred your confidential documents in a safe and secure way to prevent identity theft and help the environment by recycling them. The limit is 5 boxes per car. In the event of bad weather this event will be cancelled, please follow our facebook page for updates. Prohibited Shred Items: Paper: cardboard, telephone books, hardcover books  Trash: food waste, bottles, glass, cans, inks, dyes, paints Metals: 3-ring binders, lever-arch binders, hanging folders, large bulldog clips, license plates  Plastics: plastic bags, computer discs, CDs, DVDs, transparencies, ID badges, driver’s licenses, microfiche, microfilm, x-rays  HAZMAT: biochemical waste, sharps, toxic substances, flammables, explosives  Hardware: computer, printer and photocopier parts
