To honor those still working through addiction therapy and the more than three thousand Illinois residents who passed away from overdoses in the past year, sober graduates of the national addiction rehabilitation nonprofit, Gateway Foundation, will walk together in solidarity. September marks National Recovery Awareness Month — but addiction disease recovery is work that millions of people do every day to live. This community event will help local sober individuals and families build bigger, strong social networks.
