Each week, blues singer and educator Pamela Rose leads the class through a lively series of singalongs and exercises – and gives a short presentation shining a light on great blues vocalists such as Bessie Smith, B.B.King, Howlin' Wolf and Koko Taylor
We delve into the unique cultural impact and vocal style of each great singer, while listening and learning and then singing their songs.
All classes will have vigorous vocal warm-ups and singalongs (with lyrics provided). No previous singing experience or music training necessary. Students aren’t required to “unmute” unless they want to!
Be prepared to sing your heart out!
