Annual Citizen Diplomacy Celebration featuring Live Music, Speakers, Food and Friendship! On the evening of October 12th, 2021, SACIV will host our 2021 Citizen Diplomacy Celebration annual dinner. Through this event, we look forward to celebrating our members and community partners in recognition of the crucial role they play in supporting our work. The event will feature live musical entertainment as well as a presentation of the 2021 “International Leadership Award” to Dr. Anya Grokhovski, CEO of Musical Bridges Around the World, for her contribution promoting citizen diplomacy in our community. We will also announce this year’s “Irma Reyes Citizen Diplomacy Scholarship” recipient. We hope we can count on you to support this event. The funds raised will be used to help fund next year’s scholarship award, which was established to honor the work, support, and dedication of Ms. Irma Reyes to SACIV for over thirty years and aims to support the education of students pursuing an international related degree at a local university. There is no more effective way to contribute to our community’s global engagement than through SACIV.
